Who is responsible?
Erkan Erdogan operates this website and is responsible for its processing of personal information. Contact hello@erkanerdogan.dk or use the Signal form for questions, access requests, corrections or deletion requests.
Enquiries and submissions
The Signal form sends your name, email address, selected subject and message to Erkan's mailbox through the website's PHP mail service. These details are used to answer your enquiry and handle the resulting conversation. Name, email and message are required to send the form; you can contact Erkan directly by email instead. Please do not send CPR numbers, medical information or other sensitive details.
The beat form stores the beat, title, maker name, note and submission time in a private inbox. Use a nickname. Submission does not itself publish the beat.
Pocket DAW community reports and comments are public where the form says so: your chosen alias and the useful report or comment are visible to other visitors. An optional contact email is kept private and used for follow-up. Community reactions and spam protection use a pseudonymous identifier derived from an IP address; this is still treated as personal information. Avoid including private information in public submissions. Contact Erkan with the entry ID or link if you want a correction or removal.
Responding to enquiries, operating the submission features and protecting them against misuse rely on legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): communicating with visitors, maintaining useful community feedback and keeping the site secure. Where an enquiry is about entering a contract, necessary pre-contract steps rely on Article 6(1)(b). Submissions are voluntary and are not used to sign you up for marketing.
Cookies and optional services
Optional services are disabled until you explicitly choose them. Rejecting them does not prevent browsing, contacting Erkan or downloading firmware. Analytics and external media have separate controls. Use the Privacy choices button on any page to change or withdraw consent.

Consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) is the basis for optional analytics and media. Withdrawing consent stops future loading and clears this site's accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not undo earlier lawful processing or delete cookies held on Spotify's domain; those can be managed in your browser and Spotify account.
Google Analytics processes technical connection information and usage events, such as the page viewed and a product-link click. This site does not send contact-form fields, beat content or chat messages to Google Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in the site configuration. Query strings are excluded from the page URL sent by this site.
Providers: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC and Spotify AB and their service providers. Processing by these international services may occur outside the EU/EEA. Their applicable transfer arrangements and current recipient information are described in their policies: Google privacy, Google processing terms, Spotify privacy and Spotify cookies.
Hosting, logs and retention
Simply.com supplies website hosting and the site's mail service. Hosting and security systems can process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. Security and hosting processing relies on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Technical download totals do not need a visitor profile.
Enquiries are kept while the conversation or resulting work requires them, and only longer where necessary for legal obligations or a specific legal claim. Private beat submissions and reports are kept while they are being reviewed or remain useful for product development; public community entries are kept while they remain relevant to the community. Records must be reviewed and removed when those purposes end. Hosting logs, backups and Google Analytics have separate provider/account retention settings. Ask Erkan for the applicable period for your record and to request deletion.
ERKAN.AI and local tools
ERKAN.AI answers locally in your browser from the public project index. Chat messages are not submitted to an AI provider or stored by the chat feature. The browser beat machine and emulator process their local inputs in the browser; only an explicit beat submission sends the beat to the inbox. External links take you to another provider when you open them.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw optional-service consent through Privacy choices. Requests are normally answered within one month; identity may need to be confirmed without collecting unnecessary information. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made by these website features.
